LABORATORIES

The Adhunik Institute of Education and Research College of pharmacy has well established state of art laboratories with modern instrument which give hands on experience to the student in the pharmaceutical field.

Physical and optical laboratory

This lab consist of different components related to various practicals as per current UPTU requisites and norms. An ample knowledge is imparted when practical skills convert into theoretical approaches.

Pharmaceutical analysis

This laboratory uses modern equipment for identification and qualification of chemical compounds using analytical methods. This is suitable for analysis, quality assessment and quality control studies of drugs on finished products.

Pharmaceutical chemistry

This lab deals testing and identification of various chemicals and drugs; synthesis and purification of chemical compounds; identification of medicinally active compounds.

Human anatomy & physiology lab.

This lab provides the understanding of different systems of Human Anatomy, Physiology & Pathology with tools like computer software, models, charts, permanent slides, bones, skeletons, diagnostic kits etc.

Pharmacology

This lab gives the exposure to students to handle animals and learn the pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamics principles. This lab provides the knowledge of general pharmacology, drug dose, mechanism of action of drugs, screening of drugs, etc. This lab is equipped with computer software for the basic demonstration of pharmacology experiments.

Pharmacognosy

This lab conducts isolation, separation, purification, identification and evaluation of phytoconstituents from medicinal plants. The lab is also suitable for organoleptic evaluation of crude and natural drugs.

Pharmaceutics

These laboratories provide knowledge about the manufacturing of pharmaceutical preparations and help in training the students in drug formulations like tablets, capsules, parenterals, ointments, creams, eye drops, syrups, drug interaction, stability, shelf-life studies, etc. Different aspects of filling, packing, sealing, and labelling are studied by the students.

Microbiology

This lab with its attached aseptic room as per GLP guidelines is suitable for preparation and sterilization of culture media both for static and broth cultures. It is also used for staining and identification of bacteria and fungi. The lab is suitable for the evaluation of antiseptics and disinfectants, for the determination of phenol coefficient, microbial assay of vitamins, antibiotics, etc.

Computer lab

This lab provides instrumentation facility for students and faculty for conducting analytical practical & research work. Interested researchers, faculty members, and students can avail the facility for their academic and research activities.

LIBRARY

In an endeavor to inculcate a habit of reading and make learning enjoyable, the school has developed a superbly equipped library which proves an invaluable aid to the student community. The spacious library provides a welcome haven to students and encourages insightful and thoughtful use. We conduct a regular book fair in the school.

MEDICAL CARE

The college is providing a well-equipped medical room. First Aid facility.

TRANSPORT

The college has a well-connected and efficient transport system with buses from Delhi,Ghaziabad,Noida, Meerutin the mornings and the afternoons.

MULTI MEDIA ROOM

The hall with adequate seating capacity and having the facilities for audiovisual presentation with an LCD projector provides a comfortable learning experience to students. The provision further enhances Technology-Aided Learning.

PLAYGROUND

Institute possesses proper play ground for outdoor game like football,cricket,kabaddi,badminton,races etc.
